A reusable payments experience for Scottish Widows’ pension platform and the LBG online banking app.

Problem
“How can we help people contribute towards their pension, so that they’re prepared to have a happy retirement”. This problem was complex as many different factors come into play when one wants to change their contributions, such as tax relief & employer contributions.

Outcome
Launched a mobile first payments experience on the pension hub, 100,000 customers &
on LBGs’ online banking app, an audience of 1.5 million active customers.
Pension payments increased by 20% over in six months, our KPI was an increase of 10%.
The Pension hub had a 23% increase in active monthly users in six months, resulting in knock-on growth.
